Help Clean Up After Hurricane Irma

We are still assessing the damage from Hurricane Irma’s trip through the Southeast, and identifying volunteer coordinators in the affected regions. There is undoubtedly plenty of work to be done, so please sign up if you are willing to volunteer your time to help! Any volunteering or donation that you can spare, no matter how large or small, short or long is greatly appreciated. We will come out of this stronger than before. We are Rugby!

If you can’t afford to make a trip but still want to help, we also need volunteers to help with volunteer coordination (phone calls and spreadsheets), web design, video editing, and various other administrative tasks. If you are interested in helping in this way, please email volunteerrugbyrelief@gmail.com

RELIEF EFFORTS IN THE CARRIBEAN

Rugby Relief has partnered with Rugby Americas North to bring bring aid and rebuilding efforts to to those affected by recent natural disasters in the Caribbean and Mexico. Due to the location and current state of many of the islands in the path of Irma, we will only be mobilizing local volunteers at this time. The best way to remotely support those in need is to make a donation to one of the organizations listed below, and to sign up to receive future information on helping on the ground. The rebuilding process in the Caribbean will be long, so we look forward to your long-term commitment to helping those affected.

newshield1**Rugby Relief is partnering with Baton Rouge Women’s Rugby Football Club to receive tax-deductible monetary donations (EIN: 760829299).  If you wish to donate directly to us by check or PayPal instead of through the GoFundMe campaign above, please email us at rugbyrelief@gmail.com.  Financial contributions help us provide equipment, protective gear, and food / water to volunteers and assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
